Description:
Sepia toned photograph of fire department vehicles and overturned vehicle in AJ rock dump.
Sepia toned photo shows five vehicles (at least three of these vehicles are fire department vehicles) parked around an overturned vehicle. In the fore—ground of the photograph, a group of emergency responders surround overturned vehicle. A firefighter in fireman pants, jacket, and helmet is holding a water hose. The length of the hose can be seen running along the ground for the fire truck on the proper left of the photo to the firefighter on the proper right of the photo. A group of five men are clustered together in front of the ambulance. Two men are squatting near the open door of the over—turned vehicle. The ambulance behind the cluster of men is labeled "CITY OF JUNEAU" and the driver side, passenger side, and back doors are open. The vehicle behind the ambulance has a ladder on the roof and the back doors are open.

As a result of the double—sided tape on the back of the photograph, two horizontal stripes across the photo are a lighter color than the rest of the photo.

Labeled "RESCUE / Summer of 1971 / AJ rock fill (minor injuries!)" on original plastic protector envelope.
