Description:
Horizontal black and white postcard of inside candy and ice cream store. Display cabinet has candy in it. Ice cream is on other side of store. Writing on bottom: "Imperial Ice Cream Parlor, Joseph Trudgeon, Prop. Juneau Alaska". Five people, two dressed in white, inside store. All employees. On reverse in pencil "Bertha Trudgeon, Minnie Taylor, Joe Trudgeon, Billee Taylor" and then below, perhaps written at a different time, "I wish you would stay at home once in a while — I am at the Leonard, Minnie Billee"
Notes:
Donor's mother was Minnie Taylor (nee Willard) and was married to Billee before she married the donor's father. Catherine is 20 years older than donor. This collection of photos deals with William Taylor, a candy and ice cream store owner who was also keen on duck hunting and pheasants
