Description:
A photographic slide in a small off—white cardboard frame. The frame is labeled "Bella Hammond \ cutting ribbon Aurora \ Tenakee \ 4—30 \ 1978" with text that is handwritten in blue ink along upper edge and along proper left side. Upside down in the lower proper right corner is black stamped text reading " JUL78P14" and in the lower proper left corer is a red plus sign and a black number "8". The image shows people standing on a wooden dock. A gangway from a ship has been lowered on to the doc. Two men are pulling a red—orange net. Mountains with snow in background. The back of the frame has red text above the image reading "Kodachrome \ TRANSPARENCY". Red text below the images reads: "PROCESSED BY KODAK". Next to the text is the red and yellow Kodak logo. All text on back of slide frame is upside down when viewing the image right side up. There is a red plus sign on the peroper right of image on frame.
