Description:
Matted and framed display featuring three black and white photos, center photo squared up and two flanking photos at angles to make the trio form an arch. At bottom, "Juneau Cold Storage Company" written on the mat in black adhesive lettering. PR photo shows building in the wintertime, view from waterfront side with boats docked. Written above in a drawn banner, "1903 to 1913" Center photo is a large building covered with corrugated metal with peaked roof and eight men standing out front. Written below in a drawn banner, "1913 to 1927" PL photo is a concrete building with a flat roof, sign on roof for fish and ice, large American flag flying from one corner. Written in banner below, "Since 1927" Matting style, hand—lettered text, and decoration are somewhat historic, relating to an earlier period of display.
Entire framed item measures 42.5 inches by 18.5 inches. Photos sandwiched to the mat with illustration board on the reverse.

The property where the cold storage stood was sold to Sealaska Corporation. Juneau Cold Storage burned in 1987.
