A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Dam Hawk Inlet 6—20—54" in handwriting. The image shows a body of water abruptly ending at a thickly wooded area. The water is calm and heavily reflective of the surrounding area. A dam, perhaps created by beavers or other such woodland creatures, is visible in the center of the image, constructed from supine trees, trunks, and branches. The number "27" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
