Description:
Black and white photo in intricately carved frame, painted gold/copper color. Frame is well worn with flaking paint, separating joints. One apparently rusted nail visible on each side of frame. Nails hold frame together in back. Duct tape holds foam board to rear of frame as backing. Metal hanging apparatus attached. Photo has brown tint of age, mounted on gray matt, and framed by black matt. White piece of tape adhered to photo at top right on which reads "July 4, 1911". Photo depicts public gathered on sides of street waiting for what appears to be band as part of Fourth of July parade. Bottom in white "TREADWELL ALASKA JULY 4 1911".
