Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane). The aircraft is being viewed from the front. It has a three—blade propeller on its nose. It has two pontoons. The wings and body of the plane has a ribbed texture. The engine portion of the nose is covered with cloth. The cockpit is open and has a three—paneled windshield. A harbor, water and buildings in the background. One of the buildings has a sign with text reading: "Pacific Steamship Company".

Verso has a stamped number "73" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink. Handwritten in pencil is text reading " gordon\ John \ Cot 2".
