Black and White photograph with hand applied pigments. Large building with smoke billows in center. Firement with hoses in proper right. A group of onlooks in lower center of photo. top layer of photo has been ripped in top proper right corner/side and lower proper left corner. Written on back in blue ink: "Colusium Theater & Apts Shattuck Way side next to Alaska Laundry 1946?" The initials "MM" are also written in blue ink.

Notes:
Fire took place on January 20, 1946. Apartments above the theater were also lost. The Coliseum was originally built as a roller skating rink.
