A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows Franklin Street in Juneau along the parade route. A marching band clad in blue is coming up the street from the background, with some baton twirlers in white leading the march in the foreground. Many low buildings populate the background, including one bearing a sign for Warfield Drugs, and in the distant background, the Baranof Hotel. The number "11" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
