Large Harrison Bros photo of prospectors at Reed House.

Men posing in front of a building with the sign "1882, Reed House" and another sign on the side that reads "Reed, Groceries, Wholesale, Miners Outfits." There is snow on the ground. A dog is posing with the men near the center of the image. Two loaded sleds are posed with the men. One is on the proper left, the other on the proper right. There is snow on the ground.

On the back: a purple stamp that reads "Harrison Bros., Juneau Alaska," with star decoration. Part of the first line has worn away. "Juneau Alaska, Preparing for a Prospecting Trip" is written in pencil.
