Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4th 1950" in handwriting. The image shows a street on the parade route, with storefronts at the right, one bearing the Bus Dep. sign. In the center of the image, a parade float moves behind the women in white skirts as they march away from the camera. It is the Christian—themed float with the praying children. Beyond, there are several cars and a bus on the road. The crowd lines the sidewalk on the far side of the street. On the near side, a sign is visible to the left reading "House of God". The number "24" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
