    Sepia toned photo of small dark haired child dressed in long white dress with frilly bonnet standing on wooden chair.  Her right arm holding on to round wooden arm while left hand resting on her lap.  "Winter & Pond — Juneau Alaska" printed on bottom edge.  
On reverse side printed in gold are scenes of Southeast Alaska, including "Log Cabin Church" and "Muir Glacier".

Notes:
    Peterson family, (John, Marie, Irma & Margaret) operated gold mine in Prairie Basin.  John arrived in Juneau in 1888.  After his death, his 2 daughters managed the mine.  Carl Jensen was nephew of Mrs. Peterson.  See Earl Redman's book "History Mines & Miners in Juneau Gold Belt.
