Photograph of the sinking of the Princess Kathleen.
Color vertical photograph of ship close to shoreline. The boat's hull takes up the majority of the photograph. The angle of the ship suggests that its stern has already begun to sink below the water's surface. Shoreline is seen in the lower proper right corner; mountains in the background. Three to four people are visible in the foreground.
Notes:
The Princess Kathleen ran aground and sank at Lena Point in Lynn Canal, Alaska on September 7, 1952.
