Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) parked on a beach shoreline. There are two people, a man and a child, standing on the beach at the proper left edge of the photograph. Buildings and rocky landscape in background. The plane has a star on its tail and the text "ALASKA—WASHINGTON \ AIRWAYS" on its body. There are four windows on the body. In the lower proper right corner is text reading: "ORDWAY \ c 30 \ JUNEAU". The "c" is enclosed in a circle and is the copyright symbol. In the lower proper left corner is text reading: "35904 \ A4". Verso is blank.
Photograph is of an airplane named "Juneau" which was the first nonstop flight from Seattle to Juneau in May 1929. The flight took 7hrs and 33 mins. It was piloted by someone named Eckmann.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
