Color photograph of the fire at the Baranof Hotel.
Photograph was taken slightly to the right so it is crooked. The Baranof building takes up much of the photograph. It is tall and brown with many windows. Much of the building is obscured by smoke. There are smaller structures at its base. A white and brown VW van is parked next to these is the proper right corner of the photo. There is a man with a brown coat and black pants walking toward the building by the van.Some other buildings up the street are visible in the bottom proper left corner. Power lines run across the middle of the photo.
