Description:
Sepia tone photograph in vertical view of a log flume in the center of a cobble stream channel mounted on a matte. Two men are in mid photo to proper right of flume. Water is running through the flume. Stream banks are eroded and a partially snow covered mountain side is visible on proper right. At top of photo is handwritten in ink: "Plff Exhibit No 11 — Cause 604 at, —". At bottom of photo is handwritten in ink: "Gold Creek Placer Mine near Juneau Alaska Dec 1897". Two stamped numbers appear below photo "847" and "1049". On reverse side at top of matte is handwritten in pencil: "Proof of accuracy N Y R V Moore 105 Dws 725 C. C. A." and in ink on proper left: "Plfs Exhibit No 4 for Identifications H M L Received H.M. L.".
