Harrison Bros Cabinet card photo of ferry boat "Julia."

A ferry boat is in the water near the center of the image. A large piece of ice is floating behind the boat and another is on the proper left. Behind the ice and the boat is the waterfront and the shore with structures on it.

On the back: a stamp "Harrison Bros., Juneau Alaska" with star decoration. "Ferry boat: "Julia" Juneau, Alaska, Ice Burg (back)" is written in pencil
Notes:
The ferry "Julia" was the second boat used for ferry service by the Juneau Ferry and Navigation Company. They ran regular ferry service between Juneau, Douglas, Sheep Creek, Thane and other mining operations from their incorporation on December 31, 1894 until after the opening of the first Douglas bridge. Their last run was on October 31, 1935.
