Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (off white with yellow and red corner trim). The frame is labeled "Shrine St. Therese Eagle Glacier 6—7—59" in handwriting. The image shows the waters of the Favorite Channel in the foreground, leading to the water's edge on a far shore thick with trees and with sharp snowcapped peaks. The flat, blue surface of a glacier is visible in the center of the range. The shrine is indiscernable from such a distance. The number "3" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left.
