Matted and framed photo of four naked boy mannequins wearing shoes in rocky foreground with Mendenhall Glacier in background. Color image made of large dots and colors are primarily black, white, brown and blue.
Notes:
Negative created in 1978, but print was made in 1983. Image made from toned silver gelatin print hand—painted w/ transparent oil paints. Dot pattern achieved by copying print to screened negative & enlarging dot pattern on negative to make final reprint. Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's Bendary dot paintings. Purchased from Mark Daughhetee, photographer and curator of exhibits at the Alaska State Museum. See document file.
