Black and white photograph of an aircraft parked on a snow covered field. There are ropes and blocks near the front wheels. A barrel is tied to the plane's right wing. The airplane is viewed from the proper right side. There are propellers on each wing; they are covered with cloth. Text on the plane's tail reads: "NC \ 14258". Text on the side of the aircraft reads "PAA" and is next to an illustration of a globe with wings. This is a logo for Pan American Airways. A building (house) is in the background to the proper left. Snow covered mountains and trees in background.
Verso has a stamped number "2" in black ink located in the lower proper right corner.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
