Black cardboard poster board with 17 ski theme photos. Photos are numbered in white ink below. #1 — Large 7" x 11" hand tinted photo of 7 skiers standing at top of hill.
#2 — Large 7" x 11" hand tinted photo of woman in green lying in snow, woman in blue sitting next to her and several skiers standing in background.
#3 — Black and white 3 1/2" x 5 1/4" transposed copy of #2.
#6 — Black and white copy of rest of photos, various ski scenes.
Top has 2 large colored photos in corners w/ small black and white photo and business card for The Snap Shoppe in between. Below other photos arranged in 3 horizontal rows.
Back: JDCM paper affixed to back identifying certain people in photos.

In preparation for exhibit about recreation in Juneau (summer 2003) contractor June Hall took this to Gallery of the North to have a mat put over the top to help curling photo corners lay flatter. The gallery removed the photos from the original board, discarded the board, and replaced with all new materials. June was aghast when she picked it up, and they claimed that they had worked with the museum for years and knew themselves what was to be done, in spite of what June's instructions had been. They no longer had the original board and the JDCM has not done business with them since.
