Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Fish trap 7—5—54 Davis trap at Naked Island" in handwriting. The image shows a shoreline, presumably on Naked Island, with a series of barely visible structures along the water's edge. A mountain slope looms over the shoreline, and extends along the background's entirety. The foreground is occupied by ocean water leading to the shore. Though the sky is bright, the rest of the image is dark, as if the sun was at the photographer's back. The number "6" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
