Description:
Gold framed photo of small girl with short blond curly hair hold bow behind head and arrow across chest. Checks, lips and arrow notching is pink. Down arrow shaft written "Copyright 1897 M. B. Parkinson." Below girl is caption "Cupid Aucke(?)" "Copyright 1897 M.B. Parkinson" in small illegible yellow letters. Plain brown background. Frame has elaborate corners and outside and inside edges decorated with raised filigree like elements. Back greenish paper backing with "Carrie E. Webster Juneau Alaska Dec 1915" hand written in ink diagonally across back. Top as blue and white title sticker covered with white cloth tape with thumbtack and cotton hanging string attached.
Notes:
Belonged to Verna Carrigan, nee Hurley, stepdaughter to Edward Webster. Verna was born ca.1910. Carrie E Webster was Webster's 1st wife?
Donor was executor of Verna's estate. Object previously on loan in "Growing Up along the Gastineau" exhibit 1998—2000
