Photo of five men standing near a burning building. All of the men are standing on the proper right of the photograph with the burning building on the proper left. The building can barely be seen behind a blur of smoke, snow, and fog. Two of the firemen wearing fire suits and helmets are aiming two water hoses in the direction (toward the proper left) of the burning building. The remaining men are standing in conversation. One of the men wearing a baseball cap appears to be holding a small, white cup. One of the men in a multi—color knit cap is standing with his back to the burning building. Snow can be seen on the ground behind the men.

Labeled "Salvation Army / Feb—9—79" on original plastic protector envelope.

Reverse is labeled in black ink, "2—9 / S. Army". Three men in the photograph of also labeled in black ink on the original plastic protector envelope. The man standing along the proper right edge of the photograph is labeled "S. Stevens". The man taking a sip from a white cup is labeled "D. Davis" and the man with his back to the building is labeled as "Ned Carroll".
