Framed hand—tinted photo of Auke Lake by Edward Andrews. In foreground are trees, bushes and road. Midground is Auke Lake; background includes more trees, Mendenhall Glacier, mountains. and Juneau Icefield. Wood frame in red, brown, gold and green tones; outside edge has raised rounded border with incised decorative trim.
Inscription: In white ink on front: "E. ANDREWS PHOTO" "AUKE LAKE AND MENDENHALL GLACIER"

Photograph collected by William and Attie Miller, aunt and uncle of donor, Dick Miller, who lived in Alaska from 1925—1931, mostly in Fairbanks and Nome.
