A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Scene from Distin Ave — 2—9—51" in handwriting. The image shows an aerial view of the Juneau waterfront, taken from Distin Avenue. Gastineau Channel and the mountains on Douglas Island are visible in the background. Significant snowfall can be seen on both mountains and rooftops. The number "3" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
