Color photograph of the fire at the Baranof Hotel.
The hotel building is in the background. There are windows and smoke covering the building on the proper right side of the photograph. There is a smaller building on the proper right in front of the smoke and a low wall running across the photograph. There are two white and red signs on the wall with writing on them. In the bottom proper left corner there is a small brown car. Above the wall on the proper left there are two fireman pulling a yellow fire hose.
