Description:
Color photograph of the fire truck in the Christmas parade.
Back of the fire truck takes up all of the photo except for a portion on the proper left. That portion is black at the top and some snow is visible on the ground. The photo was taken at night. There are five(5) firemen in the photo and Santa Claus. All the firemen are wearing their yellow fire fighting jackets. The fireman the farthest to the proper right is standing on the side and back of the fire truck and holding onto a rail. He is identified as H. Cleek. He is wearing his uniform helmet. He is looking at Santa Claus. Santa is standing on a step on the back of the fire truck. He is facing away from the camera. It looks like he is climbing onto the top of the fire truck. Next to Santa on the other side is another fireman. He is wearing blue jeans with his uniform jacket and helmet. He is identified as K. Ritchie. He is facing to the proper left and standing on the back of the fire truck. He has his left arm at chest height. On the proper right of this fireman, standing on the ground, is Jim Carroll. He has a blue and brown beanie on and is turning toward the camera and looking at it. His arms are down at his sides. On the back of the truck next to Jim is another fireman who has a purple and grey beanie with snowflake pattern. He is also wearing blue jeans. He is looking toward the proper right. The last fireman is on the proper left edge of the photo and his face is not visible. He has his full uniform on including helmet. He is identified as J. Adams on the paper the photo was taped to.
The license plate on the fire truck reads "XXJ2817". It is a yellow Alaskan plate.
