Description:
Color photograph of nine men standing in a line. The second, fourth, sixth and eight men are Canadian Mounted Police all wearing their red uniform jackets, tan hats and black pants with a yellow stripe. The other five men are survivors from the USS Juneau CL—52 which sunk during the Battle of Guadalcanal during World War II. Only 10 men survived. Behind the men is a paneled wall displaying snow shoes, antlers, photographs and a sign for the Gold Nugget Salon. The men were gathered for the dedication of the USS Juneau CL—52 Memorial in Juneau, Alaska.

Handwritten on the back in black ink is "23—14 \ Donna".
