Sepia tone photo in horizontal view of a waterfront with a pier in the foreground and a town on the shore in the background. Smoke is billowing up on proper left. A log raft floats between the pier and the town. Several rows of buildings are visible and include a large 2 story building with pillars and a cupola. The background is Mt. Juneau and Gastineau Channel with Douglas Island visible on proper right. On lower photo in white print: "July 30 3—25 P.M. 1913" and "W. H. Case". On reverse side is a stamp with black handwritten ink: "Dfts Exhibit No. "A" received in evidence AUG 19 1913 In Cause no. 1012A E.W. Petit clerk by H. Malone Deputy" and in upper corner: "8/19/13 Defts Ex. A. H.M.".
