Description:
Black and white photograph of a mountainous landscape. There is a waterway cutting across the image left to right at center. There is a city at the base of the mountains on either side of the water way. The mountains in the foreground and middle ground are tree covered. The mountains in the background have snow caps.
Verso has a stamped number "7" in the lower proper right corner in blue ink.
The photograph is of the city of Juneau at the base of Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts on the Gastineau Channel. The landmass in the foreground is Douglas Island. The city on that side of the water is Douglas. The AJ mine is visible in the side of Mount Roberts. The photograph is taken from 4,500 ft. There is no bridge over the Gastineau Channel connecting the two towns.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
