Black and white contact print of large negative. View of Gold Creek looking NW with BIA Indian Hospital in right center, houses in left center, snowcapped Douglas mountains in background. Foreground shows flood debris, roots, poles, planks, etc. Hospital has enclosed front porch with upper balcony, hip roof. May be in vicinity of present day Federal Building / Fire Hall. Electrical towers visible at base of mountains, moving right to left. Printed on heavy photo paper.

Photo not dated or signed but due to similarly to other photos in collection, it is assumed to have been taken by Lloyd Winter, 1919.
Found by Jean Low in her father's papers, who gave it to Judge Tom Stewart, who then passed it on to JDCM.
Hospital was where the Federal Building parking lot is now.
