Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (off white with yellow and red corner trim). The frame is labeled "Juneau 7—4—62" in handwriting. The image shows a southward looking view of Fourth Street, diagonally capturing the right front side of the State Capitol. A color guard clad in blue holding United States flags stands in the middle of the street, facing the building. Beyond the Capitol, there are other buildings lining the street into the background. The top of Mount Juneau is visible. The number "11" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left. Also bears the ingrained text "JUL 62" on the bottom edge, perhaps indicating when the slide was developed.
