Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) docked along a shore line. The aircraft's tail extends over the land. Text on the side of the airplane reads: "AIR \ EXPRESS". There are two men standing on the plane's left pontoon leaning against the side of the plane's cabin/nose. Land, fences, buildings, telephone poles and lines and trees in background. Shore with a row boat and debris in foreground. Verso has a stamped number "2" in the lower proper right in purple ink.

The album belonged to William G. Brian Harland. He was a mechanic for Alaska—Washington Airways and Alaska Southern Airways. He was based out of Juneau.
