A photographic slide in a small cardboard frame (off white with red rear text "Color Transparency"). The frame is labeled "Juneau 7/20/64" in handwriting. The image shows an aerial nighttime view of downtown Juneau, the Gastineau Channel, and Douglas Island beyond. The foreground is occupied by the Indian Village area north of the Juneau—Douglas Bridge, characterized by low buildings ad private residences. The old cantilever bridge can be seen at extreme left, spanning over the Channel to Douglas Island, whose shore is considerably darker than Juneau's.
