Description:
Black and white photographic print of a man on a the deck of a ship. The man is dressed in a military uniform. He is leaning against the ship and holding onto a pole. Visible on the ship to the proper right of the man is the text: "US AAF P—512". Above the text and next to the man's right hand is an illustration of Donald Duck in a raincoat driving a boat. Another ship is in the background.

Verso has stamped text reading: "OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH \ NOT TO BE RELEASED FOR PUBLICATION". Below that text is more stamped text with in a square reading: DISTINICTIVE PHOTOGRAPH \ PHOTOGRAPH NO. ————16889 \ RAY KRANTZ \ Photographic Illustrations \ 3300 West 77th St. SEATTLE, 7, WASHINGTON \ Telephone HEmlock 7400". Both of those stamps are located approximately center and toward the top edge. Toward the proper right corner along the proper right edge is a third stamp. This one is circular and has text which reads: "PASSED BY EXAMINER BASE 1715 ARMY". Along the upper edge, in handwritten text are the words: "MIKE HATTON OFF 16889" and to the proper right of the work "PUBLICATION" is the text "ECK" handwritten in blue ink.
