Description:
Black and white horizontal photo of Gold Lodge, long two—story building, two sets of stairs, with several vehicles parked in front. Upper part of photo, mountains on proper right and proper left with valley between. Foreground, creek runs along whole bottom edge, runs under bridge at proper right, can see waves center bottom. Banks on both sides of creek concreted except at far proper left where it has rocks.
Notes:
Gold Lodge Apartments, 711 W. Willoughby Ave is still there. Rick's Café now site of small building, partially visible behind utility pole in proper right middle. Government Hospital (Native) on proper right middle of photo has been replaced by parking lot for Federal Building. Mount Juneau on proper right & Mount Roberts on proper left.
