On proper left side is the Baranof Hotel. It is a brown building with many windows. There is smoke coming out of the lower part of the building. Along the middle of the photo are smaller parts of the building and a line of cars parked in a parking lot. There are three cars visible and they are parked in slanted parking spots. On the proper left there is a red truck, only the mirror and part of the door are visible. On the proper left of the truck are two small white cars. In the foreground of the photo, behind the cars are several people. All of them are facing the fire in the background. All of their heads are raised. In the middle right behind the middle white car is a man with a grey shirt, black pants and brown shoes. He has dark hair and a beard. Behind him is a man in a grey suit jacket, black pants, and brown shoes. This man has his right hand in his jeans pocket and left arm raised toward the building. To the proper right of that man is a person whose black jacket and raised arms are the only things visible. In the bottom proper right corner is a woman with a dark brown jacket, dark hair, and glasses. In front of this woman is a man with khaki coveralls, a white shirt, and dark hair and mustache.
