Black and white summer photo of steamship "SS Jefferson". Single stack ship has bow pointed to proper right of photo. US flag at stern. 2 life boats visible on upper deck, also on upper deck are several "spars" at bow and stern. Just off bow can be seen miscellaneous. buildings probably wharf. "Str Jefferson" written on back with pencil.

US Court Judge in Valdez & Anchorage
They built sructure in 1916 which became "Spickett's Palance Theater & today is 1st Nat. bank Building on Front & Franklin St.
