Black and white, photographic print of buildings on a mountainside by unknown artist.
A log building is the closest building to photographer. Behind the log building are other various houses & buildings. In front of the log building and to the lower proper right side of the print is a grass area with tree stumps and other vegetation protruding from it. A dirt road/path cuts across the lower proper left corner of print. A mountainside with trees and tree stumps makes up the background of image. Print is adhered to a piece of composition board. In lower proper left of board, photograph is identified as "first Hotel at Juneau." Along the proper left edge are three holes, approximately evenly spaced, that once held sheet into an album. Verso is blank.
