Description:
Framed photographic print of a boat and a seaplane (float plane) on the water. The aircraft's nose is pointed to and next to the side of the boat. There are three men on the boat where the plane meets the ship. One additional man is standing on the bow of the ship. Mountains with glacier in background. Frame is black plastic with glass. On the back of the frame hand written in black in is text reading: "THE M/V SEAL 1926 \ HTTP://MVSEAL.COM \ FIRST VESSEL BUILT FOR THE \ TERRITORY OF ALASKA \ RUSSELL J. PETERSON JR.". There is also a set of handwritten initials in the lower proper right corner on back which may read "GSR".
Notes:
The M/V Seal was built in 1926 and later owned by Tommy Osborne, relative of donors.
