Black and white photograph of the World War II Light Cruiser "USS Juneau." Ships bow is pointing to proper right. Ship has a camoflage pattern painted on the hull. there crew members visible on the forward deck a knot of five men is visible just fore of the forward gun. There are three gun turretts visible on the forward deck each with two gun tubes.

The photo is framed and matted. There is a label on the matte: "USS JUNEAU CLAA—52 / WWII CRUISER / Named after the Capital of Alaska." Title is taken from this label.
