Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (off white with yellow and red corner trim). The frame is labeled "Gold Lodge 7—4—62" in handwriting. The image shows an exterior view of a two story structure at left and an adjoining parking lot at right. There is a wall crafted from wood slats bearing a sign reading "Gold Lodge" at left. Captured at a diagonal, the motel's building stretches into the right side background, a line of cars parked in front of it. Power lines cross the image at the top. Mountains can be seen in the background at extreme right. The number "5" is printed in red ink on the frame at the upper left. Also bears the ingrained text "JUL 62" on the bottom edge, perhaps indicating when the slide was developed.
