A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "Hawk Inlet Cannery 6—20—54" in handwriting. The image shows a low mountain slope thick with trees looming above a shoreline. The immediate foreground is occupied by a body of deep blue water. There are several structures built along the water's edge, one of which is probably the eponymous cannery. The number "24" is printed in ink on the frame at the upper left.
