Title:
Float Plane in Snow
Year Range from:
1929
Year Range to:
1935
Description:
Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) parked. Ropes are extending from the side and back of the aircraft suggesting it is tied to something. Text on the side of the plane reads: "Express". Text on the tail reads: "NC47M". Aircraft and landscape is covered with snow. Buildings, trees, phone lines, and mountains in background. It looks like there is water in front of the plane and around the buildings and phone poles as if the ground is flooded. Verso has a stamped number "2" in lower proper right corner in purple ink.
