Black and white photograph of a float plane (sea plane) docked at a wooden aircraft hanger. The hanger has the text "Alaska Southern Airways" on its front and on a sign on roof line. The aircraft is viewed from the back and left side. Text on the side of the plane reads: "D—2053". There is a crowd of people standing in front of the hanger and on the dock to the proper left of the image. Other buildings, docks, boats and a tree covered mountain in background. Buildings in view include the original Juneau courthouse, identified by the cupola. Water in foreground.
