Description:
A photographic slide in a small cardboard Kodachrome frame (brown with red trim). The frame is labeled "July 4, 1951" in handwriting. The image shows a street along the parade route, with the Alaska Arts & Crafts float traveling toward the camera. Small buildings line both sides of the street, with businesses on the right. Farther in the background, a building seems to be under construction. The background is further dominated by a large green mountain. People are milling about the street, some in the foreground, but more significantly in the background. The number "16" is imprinted on the frame at the upper left.
