Description:
Black and white photograph of a town's street. The street is planked with wood. There are buildings on either side of the street. Three cars are parked on either side of the street. The proper left side has a side walk between the street and the store fronts. Telephone poles are on either side of the street. There is a man crossing the street. On the proper left the first building (in the lower proper left corner) is a barber shop as indicated by the striped pole out front. The next building has a sign with text reading: "Nome Sheet Metal Works \ A. E. Kurth". Verso has a handwritten number "56—" in pencil.
The photograph is of Main Street in Nome, Alaska.
