Black and white horizontal photograph of seventeen (17) high school boys arranged in a single line arched arcoss a basketball court. Ten (10) of the boys on the proper left are sitting in folding chais. The other seven (7) on the proper right are standing in front of folding chairs. In the background on the proper right are seated students in the school band playing instruments, including saxaphones and trombones. Behind the line of boys is a curtain, the United States flag, the Alaskan flag, and a basketball net full of at least five (5) basketballs. On the curtain above the basketball net is a sign that reads: "WELCOM PETERSBURG". Based on letterjackets worn by some of the boys, the standing students are on the Juneau High School Basketball Team while the seated boys are on the Petersburg High School Basketball Team. Photograph has a white border along all four edges. On the back handwritten in blue ink are the names of the seven (7) Juneau players: Dave Graves, Rod Pegues, Ira Hansen, Jerry Magorty, [unlisted first name] Sonderland, Bill Graves, and Leo Osterman.
