Aerial photograph of a camp on the Taku Glacier in matte board folder.
A — Photograph image shows the wing supports of the plane at proper right. Below, on the ice are seven conical tents, seemingly spread at random. At the proper left edge of the image is a large structure composed of three wall tents. At top is a four legged steel structure.

B— Matte board frame. Front is bare, back has the following printed at bottom center: " Pavelle Color Print / MADE ON ANSCO COLOR PRINTON / PAVELLE COLOR INCORPORATED, NEW YORK 19, N.Y." Inside are two notes written in pen. At top : "For Tony, With ever grateful regards, Mal." Beneath the photo is written: "Upper Taku Glacier Camp, Juneau Ice Field, 1950."
Notes:
This photo was taken in front of Camp 10 on the Taku Glacier. They are drilling for ice cores.
